With heavy showers hitting Tulare, CA Friday morning dropping rain on Thunderbowl Raceway for several hours leaving the facility unsuitable for racing conditions, World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and track officials have agreed to cancel the Dennis Roth Classic opener.
Saturday’s $83,000-to-win finale at the Thunderbowl is still on as scheduled.
If you purchased a ticket in advance for Friday’s race, contact Thunderbowl Raceway starting next Wednesday at (559) 688-0909 for a potential credit.
The World of Outlaws now turn its attention to the Dennis Roth Classic finale at Thunderbowl Raceway on Saturday, Sept. 20, which serves up a meaty $83,000 payday to the winner. Tickets will be available at the gate.
David Gravel currently leads the standings with Michael “Buddy” Kofoid, Carson Macedo, Logan Schuchart, and Sheldon Haudenschild completing the top five.
